Roebuck-Farrell Addition
Minneapolis, MN
These two additions to a Minneapolis home
were completed four years apart. The first, was a three-season porch
addition. The second, was a second story recreation room located
adjacent to the existing children’s bedrooms. Although planned
separately, these additions unify the exterior of the house and
minimize the impact of the entry facade. The owners desire to blend
the additions together was achieved through the continued use of
stucco, slate roofing, and similar millwork detailing. These projects
were designed/managed by Kathleen Lechleiter while principal with
Xerxes Architects, Inc.
