Kathleen M. Lechleiter is an experienced professional with over 30 years of practice as a registered architect and founder of k.lechleiter ARCHITECT LLC (k.lA), a certified MBE/DBE with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and a Women Owned Business (WBE) with the City of Baltimore.

Community development and collaboration are hallmarks of k.lA's practice demonstrated by work throughout the City providing affordable housing for area non-profits and public housing.  Her practice continues to explore the power of the built environment on the well-being of the resident, the neighborhood, and the City through several avenues. A frequent collaborator with LED-BETTER Studios, she is also a member of the RE/PUBLIC.

Currently celebrating FIFTEEN years; k.lA is hosting a film series exploring concepts of housing and community development - FIRST FRIDAYS in FELLS!
